Okay, so on a personal note, I didn't want Christian to win, I admit it. From a purely functional and aesthetic view, I thought
Rami Kashou had the better, more marketable collection. But I have to admit, Christian Siriano is brilliant.
''I'm the youngest winner of
Project Runway ever — it's crazy!'' he said to the cameras. ''But hello? Did you have a doubt? Come on.
What up.''
You have to love his personality. But here's the thing. He's 21 years old. He started designing fashion (as did Rami) when he was a teenager. From the Bravo biography on him, I found out he began his career in fashion at the age of 13 when he worked for an Anapolis Maryland salon called "Bubbles."
He attended the Baltimore School For The Arts and attended University in London after graduation. He showed his first collection at the age of 18 during London Fashion Week in Fall 2005.
He's fierce. His collection was amazing. And he's 21.
