If you guys are wondering where the rest of the bike is, let me introduce you to the
Uno!
This "segway and motorcycle" mash up was shown publicly for the first time at the recent Toronto National Motorbike show. It has two wheels side by side and uses gyroscopic technology to stay upright, and has just one control - a power switch; everything else is done by leaning - lean forward to accelerate and backwards to slow down.
You would think this was a brilliant invention of a robotic expert but guess what? It's one of those bright headed teenagers again. 18 year old
Ben Gulak, from Canada, was inspired to make the bike after visiting China a few years ago and seeing all the smog. He thinks the Uno is an answer to urban traffic chaos and pollution.
The bike is light enough to be taken indoors to be charged up, and runs for 2.5 hours.
Do you have an idea too? We have a great competition for aspiring engineers: build a usable product out of trash and you could
