Olympic Teen Diver

Tom Daley, a 14 year old British diver, is going to have to look forward to the 2012 Olympics in London for his metal. He and his synchronized diving partner placed 8th today. His presence has re-ignited interest in diving around the world! His attitude toward the games is wonderful. He's excited about the upcoming individual platform event and past that, just looking ahead to London.

That is really cool having a teen like me in the Olympics. I have always wanted to be in the Olympics. What's it like? Is it fun, challenging, IS IT EASY?

I think it is neat that teens can participate in the olympics. It shows that even at young ages they have worked harder than almost anyone else in the world. It also exposes them to a lot of the world that they would not have seen other wise. For divers, they probably have less fear and are more flexible at this age. It shows that young adults can make an impact on the world and change how we veiw sports much ilke MIcheal Phelps did.

It's kind of insane that someone that age is good enough to compete with world class competion.

I think that is awesome! Having someone so close to our age going to the olympics! I'm interested to see how he does in the competition!
