Trash To Treasure Winner Builds A Protype of His Invention

On Tuesday, Max was awarded a check for $10,000 from Intel at Continuum, an award-winning international design & innovation consultancy in Newton, MA. In addition to his cash prize, Max also spent a day helping build a prototype of his invention, “The Home Dome” at the development lab in Continuum.
 
12-year-old Max Wallack from Natick, MA won the BKFK 2008 Design Squad Trash to Treasure Competition for his “Home Dome” innovation, which is made primarily from discarded plastic bags, & seeks to provide temporary housing for those in need of shelter.
