Dr Maire McLoone is an Irish
inventor from Queen's University in Belfast. She invented a product to protect people from cyber theives and criminals. Her product enhances security mechanisms and won the # prize in the British Female Inventors & Innovators Awards in 2007.
She developed it while conducting research into high speed security architectures at Institute of electronics, communications and information technology (ECIT), Queen’s University, Belfast. Dr McLoone has developed high-speed security architectures that may be a potential solution of real-security. She is from Co. Donegal and is is actively involved in promoting science, engineering and technology to students like you!
